While postponing Super Saturday has been a necessary step to keep everyone safe during the pandemic, I’ve been missing it a lot lately. For those of you who have never been, Super Saturday is the Museum’s monthly family fun day. Each month has a different theme, often being inspired by a current exhibition or theater show at the Museum,. The Super Saturday events will take place from 10 a.m. The sessions offer opportunities to meet with academic counselors and visit enrollment and financial aid offices to solidify a class schedule for spring semester.
Virtual Super Saturday is back! Our special guest is the Rabbi Elan Babchuck, the Founding Director of GLEAN Network, an incubator and network for faith leaders who seek to reimagine the role of religion in an ever-changing world yearning for meaning, belonging, and justice.
Virtual Super Saturday is offering worship, Rabbi Babchuck keynote, 50+ workshops over two days, virtual face-to-face networking sessions and limited one-on-one professional coaching sessions. Attention GER2I Summer Youth Attendees:
Thank you to all students and their families who registered for 2020 GER2I summer youth programs as well as to all individuals who were planning to teach or counsel in these programs. Unfortunately, due to the national emergency surrounding transmission of Covid-19, we have elected to cancel our youth programs for summer 2020. Doing so will contribute to efforts to stem the spread of this disease. Since inception of GER2I youth programs in 1979, we have never cancelled, but we believe this year it is important to do so. Be safe, stay well, and we hope to see you in 2021 youth programs.
Please note for those individuals who have already registered, information will follow via email concerning refunds, cancellation, and next years’ programs.
