ADA withdrawal fee. Hi guys, I would like to suggest CDC, to lower there fee for withdrawal ADA. Don’t get me wrong they already did a great job going from 10 to 2 ADA last month. But look like binance lower there fee yesterday from 5 to 1 because of popular demand from the cardano community. So I was thinking that would good to lower to 1. A withdrawal from the Crypto.com Exchange is an on-chain transaction of transferring crypto to an external cryptocurrency address (usually a wallet or another exchange). All Users’ deposits are held in cold storage, for security reasons, however withdrawal requests - for all cryptos - are automated.
In most cases withdrawals are almost instant and normally should take no longer than two hours to be processed.
We are working on improving our infrastructure to make instant withdrawals possible.
Note: Withdrawals will be sent from an address that differs from your crypto's deposit address.
Address whitelisting
To increase the security of your funds, we are requiring withdrawal address whitelisting every time you want to send crypto to a new address.
To whitelist a withdrawal address:
When entering the withdrawal address, remember to remove any whitespace before or after the string of characters, or any other text that is not a part of the address (sometimes when you scan a QR code, it will add something like “ethereum:”; if you try saving it, you will get an error message “Invalid Address”).
Please see other sections for common issues associated with specific cryptos.
To make a withdrawal:
Keep in mind that once your transaction is posted to the blockchain, we will not be able to stop or reverse it, so make absolutely sure the address you’re sending your coins to is correct.
Withdrawal request confirmation
Once your withdrawal address is confirmed, you will receive a withdrawal request confirmation email - that means we have acknowledged receiving your request and will process it as soon as we can (usually no later than on the following business day). You will receive a separate notification, once the request is processed.
Warning
If you receive an email for an action you did not request (address whitelisting or crypto withdrawal), please contact our Support immediately (for speed, use the in-app chat, if possible - you can find it in the Settings, section: Contact Support). Our Staff will help you to disable crypto transactions (if necessary), attempt to stop the withdrawal request and change the passcode (we will need to verify your identity to do that).
As it is possible that your account has been compromised, you may want to change your Crypto.com login email at the same time (click on Profile, then tap the email address). You will need to have access to your current email address to complete this action.
The maker-taker fee model is commonly used throughout cryptocurrency exchanges.
“Maker” and “Taker” fees are charged when the trade is executed and matched, and not when the trade order is created.
Maker Fee - A trade order will incur a maker fee if the trade is not matched immediately with a buyer/seller's order on the order book. These trades will be added to the order book, adding liquidity. An example of this are limit orders that do not get fulfilled immediately.
Taker Fee - A trade order will incur a taker fee if the trade is matched immediately with an order on the order book. An example of this are market orders that are usually completely fulfilled.
Past 30-Day Trading Volume - Your fee level is based on your past 30-Day trading volume, which is calculated from the total volume of crypto you've traded over the past 30 days in USD equivalent, calculated daily.
The trading volume between 00:00:00 UTC and 23:59:59 UTC will be included in the calculations. Therefore the cutoff time for any trades to be calculated for the next day is 23:59:59 UTC.
The past 30-day trading volume will then be calculated at 00:50:00 UTC on the next day and will be updated within an hour.
Please refer to the trading fees and tiers schedule listedhere.
At 00:50:00 UTC every day, your trading volume over the past 30-day period in USD, current CRO staking balance, and fees paid in CRO are evaluated. We will update your Tier level and corresponding maker/taker fees within 1 hour in most cases.
CRO rebate on trading fees, as well as interest earned from staking CRO, will be paid within 1 hour.
How are fees charged on partially filled orders?
Trading fees are charged on every transaction until your order is completely fulfilled.
What are the fees for trading CRO itself?
When it comes to trading CRO, the fees will be determined by your trading tier; in order to receive a rebate, you must stake a minimum of 5,000 CRO.
Case Example 1
The order is placed to purchase 50,000 CRO with 8,000 USDT. Since your order is executed with maker fees (Tier 3’s maker fee is 0.08%) , the fee can be calculated as 50000 * 0.08% = 40. As a result of the successful trade, you will receive 49960 CRO (49,960 = 50,000 - 40).
